1. Overview & Store Benefits
With Weighing Scale Integration in InventoryPlus, cashiers never need to manually squint at scale screens or type weights into POS invoices. The system creates a direct, real-time data bridge between your electronic scale and your billing screen.
- Zero Typing Errors: Completely eliminates typo shrinkage (e.g. typing 0.150 kg instead of 1.500 kg).
- 3x Faster Checkout: Place item on platter, press F11 (or tap "Add to Bill"), and the line is committed automatically.
- 1-Tap Container Deduction: Deduct packaging box and jar weights (50g sweet boxes, 120g jars) with 1 click.
- Works with Any Scale: Compatible with CAS, Mettler Toledo, Essae/DIGI, Avery Berkel, Datalogic Magellan, and USB/Serial scales.
- Legal Metrology Protection: Blocks unstable, moving, negative, or zero-weight transactions automatically.
2. Daily Billing: Cashier Step-by-Step
The standard counter weighing procedure takes less than 2 seconds per item:
- Select Product: In the Sales Entry screen, type or scan the weighed product (e.g. Fresh Apples). The cursor moves automatically into the Quantity (Weight) column.
- Place on Scale: Put the items on the scale platform. Watch the Floating HUD or taskbar icon turn ๐ข STABLE.
- Press F11 (or tap "Add to Bill"): Press F11 on your keyboard or tap the large green "๐ฅ Add to Bill (Enter)" button on the floating HUD.
- Auto-Committed: The verified net weight (e.g.,
1.450 kg) is typed into the invoice cell, Enter is triggered automatically, and the total amount is calculated!
3. Packaging Container Tare Presets
When selling items in heavy boxes, sweet cartons, glass jars, or plastic tubs, store owners must deduct container weight so customers only pay for the net product weight (Net = Gross - Tare).
- 1-Tap Tare on Floating HUD: Place filled box on scale → Click "Sweet Box (50g)" on the HUD tare bar → Weight instantly recalculates to
1.500 kg→ Press F11! - Clear Tare: Click the "Clear" button on the tare bar to return to pure gross weight.
- Add New Containers: Click the `โ` button on the HUD tare bar (or Right-Click Tray → ๐งฐ Manage Container Tare Presets...) to add unlimited packaging containers with custom names and weights in grams.

200010101450(Prefix20+ PLU00101+ Weight01450). - Automatic Breakdown: InventoryPlus automatically resolves Product
